Met nog enkel de slotmanche voor de boeg in de East Belgian Rally, ziet het er goed uit voor Franky Boulat. Aangezien hij nu 59 punten telt met zijn schrapresultaat al ingecalculeerd, zal hij op minstens dat aantal punten eindigen als hij over het startpodium rijdt. Enkel Loic Pirot – met 45 punten inclusief zijn schrapresultaat – kan dus nog kampioen worden op voorwaarde dat hij wint EN indien Franky Boulat opgeeft in de East Belgian. Achter hen kunnen zowel Philip Lommers, Patrick Diels en Kurt Braeckevelt nog aanspraak maken op een podiumplaats in de eindstand van het kampioenschap. Wie gaat met de titel naar huis? Antwoord binnen 2 weken!
Bij de copiloten is het nog spannender! Hier is er nu ex-aquo met exact evenveel punten tussen Bodet en De Busser. East Belgian zal hier uitsluitsel brengen.

Alors qu'il ne reste plus que la dernière manche (East Belgian Rally), les choses se présentent bien pour Franky Boulat. Puisqu'il a maintenant 59 points avec son résultat de rebut déjà pris en compte, il finira avec au moins ce nombre de points lorsqu'il franchira le podium de départ. Seul Loïc Pirot – avec 45 points dont son résultat d'élimination – peut encore devenir champion à condition qu'il gagne ET si Franky Boulat abandonne dans l'Est belge. Derrière eux, Philip Lommers, Patrick Diels et Kurt Braeckevelt peuvent encore prétendre à une place sur le podium au classement final du championnat. Qui remportera le titre ?
